INSA Cannabis For Real Life

In 2020 KLINE was contracted to engineer and fabricate the fixtures for the new cannabis flagship store for INSA based in Springfield, Massachusetts by NY-based design firm Eight Inc.

The challenge was to design and engineer an interactive sensory table. With the wave of a hand, a cylinder loaded with a selection of cannabis flowers would raise up to meet the viewer. At the same time, an adjacent monitor would show the information for that particular strain. This computer-controlled, motion-activated feature table was the centerpiece of INSA’s new flagship store which opened in June 2021.
